Catherine Strawderman Obituary

BRADFORD - Catherine (Anderson) Dufour Strawderman, 90, of Laudone Drive, Bradford, passed away at her home on Thursday, May 15, 2025. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Strawderman, Jr.

Born in Westerly, she was the daughter of the late James M. and Jessie Anderson.

Catherine was employed as a secretary by Electric Boat in Groton for many years. She was an avid reader and puzzle expert who loved video gaming. She was also a passionate Republican supporter.

She is survived by her two children, Sherry Reynolds of Ashaway and James Jimbo Dufour and wife Laurie of Pawcatuck; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Catherine was predeceased by her son Ronald F. Dufour Jr. and daughter Debra Lynn Dufour; as well as three siblings, Jack Anderson, Isabelle Gandolfi, and Heather Bailey.

Visiting hours are omitted. A Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, May 28th, at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. For online condolences please visit www.gaffneydolanfuneralhome.com
