Catherine Vidler Obituary
Catherine formerly from Warwick, moving to Coventry 5 years ago. She was a graduate of Truesdale Hospital School of Nursing in Fall River, MA. She had worked for Kent County Hospital for 52 years prior to her retirement. Catherine was a loving and caring person who always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Catherine is survived by her daughters, Catherine (Vidler) Marxson and her husband Fred, Patricia (Vidler) Barthelemy and her husband Mark, Linda Nielson and her husband Al, and Sheena Vidler-Given and her fiancé John McNamara, as well as her 12 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Ginny (Vidler) Slack and her late husband Wally. She was the sister of the late Agnes (Dick), and John Dick.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 5 to 8 PM in the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick. Her funeral will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021, at 12:30 PM with a Funeral Service at 1 PM. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Cemetery, Warwick.
