Louise DiScuillo, age 80, of West Greenwich and formerly of North Kingstown, passed away peacefully on October 18th, 2025 surrounded by the love of her family. She was the cherished wife of Ralph Joe DiScuillo, with whom she shared over 56 years of love, laughter, and happiness.
Born in Detroit, MI, on December 17th, 1944, she was the beloved daughter of the late Kenneth and Helen (Burns) Fawthrop, and the sister of the late Robert Fawthrop, and the late Betty Ann Davenport.
Louise had the most gentle soul, and everyone who knew her enjoyed her company. She deeply cherished her family and friends- especially her six grandchildren, who were her greatest joy. In her younger years, Louise loved reading, singing in the choir at Edgewood Congregational Church, and traveling. She was always ready to pack her bags for the next adventure.
Louise worked for many years as a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker before becoming the Senior Tax Credit Administrator for Web Commerce at American Power Conversion (APC), where she spent 19 years. During her time there, she cared for and supported everyone she worked with. She loved her APC family dearly.
Louise was the anchor of her family. She stood by her husband, guided her children, and supported her loved ones through every stage of life. We will forever miss her radiant smile, her kindness, and her caring heart.
In addition to her husband, Louise is survived by her children, Michael DiScuillo of Cumberland, Melissa Quinn and her husband Edward of Cumberland, and Christina "Tina" Bapties and her husband John of Smithfield. She is also survived by her six grandchildren- Kevin DiScuillo, Meghan DiScuillo, Aidan Quinn, Kaelyn Quinn, Cameron Bapties, and Brayden Bapties- as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27th at 930 a.m. at the funeral home, immediately followed by burial at Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.
