Catherine Marie "Cathy" Walls

Catherine (Cathy) M. Walls of Bradenton, Florida, born August 21, 1967, in Bangor, Maine, slipped away peacefully while surrounded by family on January 22, 2023, and found her place at the throne of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Cathy was predeceased by her father, Kelsie Richard Walls; aunt, Catherine Jean Witham, and nephew, Stephon Anthony Swatek. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Almeter (Walls), stepfather, James Almeter; brother, Kelsie Richard Walls Jr., sister-in-law, Shannon J Walls, their sons, Kelsie Richard Walls, III and Brenden Alexander Walls; her sister, Vicki Lee, brother-in-law, Michael Lee and their children, Christopher Lee, Kelsie Swatek, Erin Swatek, Lea Agliano and Tristan Lee; stepsister, Debbie LLoyd; stepbrother, Tim Almeter, his wife Nanette Almeter, their children, Natalie Almeter and Grayson Almeter; stepsister, Kim Ann Wilder, her husband, David Wilder, their children, Madelyn Wilder and Dylan Wilder; Cathy was a 1985 graduate of Southeast High School and highly regarded as a talented athlete. Recently inducted into the Southeast High School Athletic Hall of Fame, she played a pivotal role in the 1985 victory of a state championship by The Lady Noles Girls Basketball Team. She continued her basketball career at Manatee Community College and Florida Atlantic University. Upon completion of her studies, she completed a twenty-nine-year career with Tropicana Products located in Bradenton, Florida. To know her is to love her and be loved by her. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her and will forever remain in our hearts.
Cathy's Celebration of Life will be held 4:30 PM Saturday, February 03, 2023, with a Memorial Visitation starting at 4:00PM. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, FL 34205, is in charge of arrangements.
