Celebrating the life of Catherine Margaret Willis, known affectionately by her loved ones as Kat, is an exercise in joy, laughter, and of course, compassion. Born on February 15, 1956, in the vibrant town of Camden, NJ, Catherine learned the nuances of humility and generosity at a young age. These innate qualities took root and blossomed, defining her persona. She was a beacon of love and kindness who believed in the simple philosophy of life - "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give."

Catherine spent her years in Gloucester City, New Jersey, ensuring that her family and loved ones always had everything they needed. Her generous nature was all-encompassing, and her love knew no bounds. As a retired professional, she had the luxury of time, which she utilized to make everyone around her feel special and important. In her unique way, she channeled the wisdom of Mother Teresa, who once said, "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love."

Being a loving mother to Faith Wilcox and Kathleen Macintyre, and a doting grandmother to Rihanna Meddings, Viviine Wilcox, and Vivian Dunkin, Catherine's family was her world. She also leaves behind her sisters, Maryann Milloro, Barbara Becker, Hope Stratton and her nieces and nephews, Karen Spencer, Steve Milloro, Jackie Lamboy, Danny Lamboy, and Jose Lamboy. As she embraced her eternal journey, Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, Wart Willis and Mae Greenan, and her son, Shawn Wilcox.

The family invites you to share in a celebration of Catherine's life on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 5:00 pm at the Macedonia Baptist Church, located at 351 High Street, Westville, New Jersey, 08093. We shall remember Catherine, not with tears, but with smiles, celebrating her humility, compassion, and boundless love.

As we celebrate the life of Catherine, we encourage you to share your memories, stories, and photographs of her on the memorial page. This is not just a tribute to Catherine; it is a place where love resides, friendships are nurtured, and memories are cherished. Catherine may have left us, but her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched.
