Cathi Cummins Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cathi Cummins, daughter to the late Lou and Jo Ann Thoma and mother to Mary Jo and the late David Eddy. She passed away February 3, 2026, at Marietta Memorial Hospital following a short series of health events.
Cathi spent 22 years and retired as a Secretary from Williamstown High School where she also coached track, organized Homecoming, and taught line dancing to gym classes. Cathi was also a long time member of the Marietta Sternwheel Festival Committee. She enjoyed her final years strongly bonding with Mary Jo after MJ’s return to West Virginia, with Jarod Eddy and his family, and also with David until his untimely passing.
A memorial gathering and celebration of Cathi’s life will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
