Cathleen Dallenbach Obituary
Plainsboro-Cathleen Dawn Dallenbach,76, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2023 at Merwick Rehabilatation Center, after a brief illness. She was born on September 30, 1947 in New Brunswick, NJ to the late Thomas Regan, and Mary Francis Zimmerman, both of the New Brunswick area. Cathy was a familiar face to everyone in the community, as a U.S. Postal Clerk at the Milltown Post Office for over 25 yrs, she brought smiles and laughs to many of her customers. Many can remember her silly attitude, and her catch phrase, "step right up!" After working for the P.O., as she often called it, Cathy retired with her loving husband Walter Dallenbach in Cape Charles, Virginia, in which she spent many years enjoying great adventures and lifes ups and downs before returning to Good Ole' NJ for a second time.
Cathy was a very passionate woman who often wore her emotions on her sleeve. She could, and would, talk to anyone. She had an incredible ability to find commonality with even a stranger. Her loves in life included, animals, namely puppies, flowers and let me tell you, she knew her gardening fine cuisine and her son. Cathy loved visiting the Jersey shore and Outer Banks of Virginia. The sound of the ocean brought her peace, the energy of the water made her calm may she forever be at peace and safe under God's eyes.
She is survived by her only son, Tim, and his wife Rozaliya Crea of Plainsboro, NJ. Services will be private. Thank you for your love and support during this rough time.
