Cathleen Jean Kornacki, age 87 of Carleton, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
Loving mother to Eric Hollister, Adam (Wendy) Hollister, and Dorcas (Steve) Spurlock; step-mother to Laurie, Cynthia, and Dan Jr. Devoted grandmother to Jason Watson, Mary Hollister, Amber (Jonathon) Martin, Ryan (Shannon) Spurlock, Adam (Jessy) Kennedy, Aubrey (Gary) Banning, and Kelly Hollister; great-grandmother to Justin, Jessica, Jayda, Zachary, Courtney, Ethan, Journey,Isabella, Kailey, Michael, and Brayden; great-great grandmother to Elijah and Violet. Beloved sister to Gaye (Bob) Felberg. She was also well loved by other family members and friends.
She will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025 at the Ford Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 23620 Huron River Dr, Rockwood, MI 48173, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Rosary will take place during evening and times will be confirmed and posted. Funeral Mass will held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at St. Roch Catholic Church, 25022 Gibraltar Rd, Flat Rock, MI 48134, at 10:00 am. She will lie in state at 9:30 am.Cremation will take place afterwards and will rested in peace at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Iona, MI.
