Cathy Branham

Cathy Branham, of Lebanon TN, passed away on December 16, 2025 at the young age of 74. The Memorial Service is 2 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Rome Baptist Church. Brother Wayne Malone will officiate.
Cathy Jane Thompson Branham, later lovingly nicknamed "Freebird", was born in Lebanon TN to Doris Smith Thompson and Dalton Eugene Thompson. Cathy worked in shipping for Texas Boot for many years. She enjoyed fishing, collecting anything Elvis or angel related, and watching classic TV such as Lassie and Shirley Temple movies, and reality TV shows like Survivor and Amazing Race. Cathy was a long-time member of Adams Avenue Church of Christ but more recently attended Love's Way.
Cathy is survived by children: James Branham, Becky (Charles Brown) Robertson, and Matthew Branham; grandchildren: James Tyler Ricketts, Brandy Lee (Kaydon) Swicegood, Lucas Robertson, Kenny and Lamont Word, many more beloved grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings: Sandra (Owen) Morris, Patrice Vantrease, Tommy (Julie) Thompson, Tracy (Tammy) Thompson, and Becky Scruggs; and beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family, and fur baby Spot. She is preceded in death by husband Albert Branham, parents Doris and Dolton Eugene Thompson, and brother Riley Thompson.
