Cathy Cregut

Cathy Cregut, 69, of Houston, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026, in her home. She was born February 9, 1957, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Sandra "Gail" Adams Cregut and the late Norman "Nopty" Cregut. Cathy was a 1975 graduate of Chartiers- Houston High School. She worked as an aide for over 15 years at Western Center, retiring when it was closed. Cathy was an avid puzzler, enjoyed Sudoku, reading and loved jeopardy. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are two brothers, Denny Cregut (Kelly) of Washington and Rodney Cregut (Marcella Lynn) of Strabane; a sister, Lisa Weaver (Richard) of Houston; three nephews, Christopher Cregut, Tyler Cregut and Nathaniel Cregut (Jessica); great-niece, Isabella Cregut; and many cousins. At the request of the deceased, there are no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K.
