Cathy Ann Grissom

Graveside services will be held Friday, February 6th at 11:00 A.M. at Bridges Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather at Bridges Chapel Community Center following the service. Buddy Waldrum, Jon Duff, Dakota Purdon, Jerremey Henry, Bryce Edwards, Easton Grissom, Landen Waldrum and Jonathan Grissom will be serving as pallbearers. 

Cathy Chase Grissom, age 74, of Talco, TX, passed away at home February 3, 2026. She was born on July 11, 1951, in Pampa, TX. to Gerald and JoAnn Hall Chase.

Cathy loved being surrounded by her family and was the life of the party. She enjoyed watching all of her grandkids compete in sports. She made the best homemade rolls, and she was always ready for a family get together at any time.

Survived by her children;

Rhonda Gilbert of Talco, Susan Thompson and husband, Keith of Talco, Joe Grissom and wife, Michele of Bogata, Justin Grissom and wife, Stephanie of Sugarhill. Her grandchildren; Leslie Waldrum, Misti Stephenson, Haley Watson, April Duff, Kelsi Thompson, Dakota Purdon, Nicole Henry, Jerremey Henry, Madison Brenton, Chloe Grissom, Hannah Grissom, Jonathan Grissom, Easton Grissom, Micheal Grissom, Brantlee Grissom.

She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, her aunt, Diane Chase, her sisters-in-law, Patricia Bond and Darla Ottinger, her brother-in-law, Dale Grissom, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and her very special friends, Barbara Brown and Chub Brown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Pete" Grissom, her parents, Gerald and JoAnn Chase, her mother-in-law, Opal Hanks Grissom, her grandson, Jonathan Trey Grissom, her brothers-in-law, Sidney Bond and Jimmy Ottinger.
