She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gerald Kirby; parents, Horace and Betty Mann Welch; twin son, Jason Kirby; brother, Leon Welch; brother-in-law, Starlin Kirby.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Michelle Kirby; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Debbie Welch and Jim and Kathy Welch; sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Eddie Shamoon; sisters-in-law, Rachel Welch and Linda Kirby; special niece, Heather Welch Cook; extended family also survives.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Cathy Welch Kirby will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Murray Memorial Gardens.
A livestream of the service will be available on the Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory Facebook page.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory of Chatsworth has been entrusted with the arrangements for Mrs. Cathy Welch Kirby.
