Cathy Sue Phillips, 68, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025, in Edwardsburg, Michigan, with her loving husband by her side.
Cathy was born on November 18, 1956 in Marion, Indiana to the late Richard Douglas David and Carol Louise (Shirar) David.
Along with her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her brother, Mike David.
Left to cherish the memory of Cathy is her loving husband, Terry Phillips, and children, Beverly May Owens and Lawrence Owens.
Cathy walked through life with grace and simplicity, always carrying a deep and unwavering love for her husband Terry and an abiding belief in the kindness of the human spirit.
Cathy was the epitome of a homebody who found joy and contentment in the tranquility of her own home. Happiness, for her, was found in the quiet moments at home, embraced by the love of her life and wrapped in the serenity of her faith.
Those who knew Cathy will remember her as a simple woman, whose strength was grounded in her faith, and whose life was a testament to the power of love and belief. As she reunites with her Maker, her legacy of love, faith, and compassion remains a comforting beacon to all who were blessed to know her.
In keeping with Cathy's wishes, there will be no services held at this time.
