Cathy Shepard Rozen

Cathy Shepard Rozen, age 67, passed away at her home in Lincolnshire on February 1, 2026. Beloved wife of Stu Rozen; devoted mother of Jonathan (Veronika Goldberg), Gregory, and Darcy Rozen; adored grandmother of Odessa and Remi Rozen; cherished sister of Marcie Shepard, David (late Lauren) Shepard, and Randi (Georg) Bauer; treasured aunt to countless nieces and nephews.

Married in 1981 and together since 1972, Cathy and Stu were childhood sweethearts and lifelong partners.

Cathy's life reflected a deep love of children and care for others, values she carried through her career as an elementary teacher, her retirement as a children's hospital volunteer, and a lifetime as a mother and aunt.

Cathy lived with a serious illness in her later years, cared for with devotion by her husband, Stu, and supported always by her loving family.

Service Thursday, 12 Noon CT, at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove (1 Block N. of Lake Cook Rd.). Cathy's service will be livestreamed at www.goldmanfuneralgroup.com. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
