Cathy L. Salaz, a beloved sister and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025, in her hometown of Denver, Colorado. Born on January 2, 1960, Cathy lived a life filled with joy, laughter, and kindness.
Educated at Denver University, Cathy graduated with a bachelor’s degree that laid the groundwork for her successful career. Her friends and family remember her as a happy, friendly, and kind soul, whose great sense of humor brought comfort to those around her. She had an exceptional ability to light up any room with her presence, making everyone feel valued and loved.
Outside of her professional life, Cathy had a deep passion for creating beautiful jewelry and nurturing her collection of orchids. These hobbies reflected her creative spirit and her appreciation for beauty in the world around her.
Cathy's journey through life was profoundly enriched by the love she shared with her sisters, Linda, Shirley, and Peggy. Together, they created countless memories that will be cherished forever. In her final moments, Cathy was surrounded by family, a testament to the strong bonds she nurtured throughout her life.
Cathy’s parents, Joe and Helen Salaz, have preceded her in death, leaving behind a legacy of love that Cathy continued to spread throughout her life. Though she has left this earthly realm, her spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.
Rest in peace, dear Cathy. Your laughter and kindness will be deeply missed, but your spirit will forever shine on in the joyous memories we hold dear.
