In Loving Memory of Cathy Jo Summers

Cathy Jo Summers, age 72, of Paoli, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Paoli Health & Living. She was born on May 31, 1953, in New Albany, Indiana, to Josephus “Joe” and Catherine Poe Summers.

Cathy Jo was a devoted member of the Paoli Christian Church. Alongside her family, she was very active in supporting the WHAS Crusade for Children and participated in the Orange County Special Olympics. A client of the Paoli First Chance Center, she enjoyed participating in family activities and supporting her siblings at their events. Cathy Jo enjoyed spending time with others, whether she was fishing on a pond bank or simply being present with the people she cared about. Her warm spirit and versatility endeared her to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Josephus “Joe” and Catherine Poe Summers.

She is survived by:

Memorial Contributions

Funeral Arrangements

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 13, 2026, at the Dillman- Scott Funeral Home, with Pastor Mike Crosley officiating.

Interment will follow at Stampers Creek Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, located at 226 W Campbell St, Paoli, IN, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
