Keith Emmons Obituary
Keith Leon Emmons 82 of Shoals passed away on December 10, 2025, at his Powell Valley residence. He was born at home on Emmons Lane in Powell Valley Indiana on September 30, 1943, to Ranza and Clois Rominger Emmons.
He was a proud member of the Springs Valley Class of 62 and was currently Lost River Township Board member for Martin County. He worked at the 7-Up bottling plant, was a seed corn dealer, livestock and grain farmer and owned and operated a school bus for 60 years for the Shoals Community Schools.
Keith enjoyed watching Nascar races, football, basketball and he also enjoyed hunting.
Keith is survived by his mother Clois, two brothers Phillip and Teddy (Clydia) Emmons, one sister Phyllis (Roger) Wininger, two children, Robert Emmons and Jill Tow, two Grandchildren Clayton and Keylee Tow.
Keith is also survived by four stepchildren, James (Melissa)Pate, Robert (Theresa) Pate, Arketta (Bill) Butler, Dianna (Clifford) Payne, 17 step-grandchildren and 19 step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Ranza Emmons, stepdaughter Melissa Marks, second wife Patricia Harper Emmons and his first wife Sharon Tuell Pate.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home. (226 W. Campbell St. Paoli, IN 47454)
Visitation will also be held on Thursday morning starting at 9:00 AM until the time of service.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Dillman-Scott Funeral Home.
Interment to follow at the Emmons Ridge Cemetery.
