She was born September 1, 1950, at ACH Hospital in Shawnee, to Nella Mae Harbour and James H. Milner. Cathy Sue Torbett lived a life marked by love and dedication to family.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Torbett, of Shawnee; her daughters, Leslie and Gerald Blevins, of Enid, Julie Torbett, of Shawnee and Haley Torbett, of Shawnee; her sisters, Ava Milner, of Texas and Jerry Bohannon, of Shawnee; her grandchildren, Madison Blevins, Patrick Blevins, Carson Fields, Avery Fields, Griffin Fields and Carly Torbett and her fiancé, Christopher Schat; her great-grandchild, Bowie McClung; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her grandson, Taylor Torbett Blevins.
Cathy found her greatest joy in painting, traveling and making memories with those she loved. She enjoyed classic car shows and travel adventures shared with her husband and friends. Above all, Cathy treasured the holidays, when her entire family could be together.
A visitation will be on Sunday, February 8, 2026, 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., at AE Funeral Services Chapel, 603 W. Independence St., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74804.
The funeral service will be on Monday, February 9, 2026, 11:00 a.m., at AE Funeral Services Chapel. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Literally, my very best childhood memories all, in some way or another, involve Cathy, Bill and the girls. I remember these times like they were yesterday and will never forget them. This is very sad news and my heart and prayers go out to them all.
