Sister Ann Catherine Fuchs, CDP (Gloria Mae), entered eternal life on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025 at the age of 90.

She was the daughter of the late Norman and Catherine (Husser) Fuchs and the late Anna (Fuchs) Rostak. Cherished sister of the late Norman Fuchs, Jr. (surviving spouse, Linda) and the late Judith Mears (surviving spouse, Robert).

Gloria Mae joined the Sisters of Divine Providence from St. Basil Parish in the Carrick neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Sister Ann Catherine spent many years as a teacher in Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia. She earned her Bachelor's degree in education from Duquesne University and a Master's from Cardinal Stritch College in Milwaukee. In later years, Sister served at Providence Child Care Center South in Castle Shannon. In retirement at Providence Heights, she found many ways to be of service.

Sister was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, and is survived by three nieces, one nephew, nine great-nieces and nephews and one great-great niece, friends, and the Sisters of Divine Providence and their Associates.

On Wednesday, December 31, 2025, a Liturgy of Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. This event will take place in the Visitation Chapel of Kearns Spirituality Center, 9000 Babcock Boulevard, Allison Park, PA, 15101. This Chapel event will be live streamed at: https://video.ibm.com/channel/Q4zW6rUvwPq.
