Cean was born on August 12, 1951, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Paul and Mary Terrell. She was a graduate of Saydel High School on the north side of Des Moines. Cean spent time helping in her father's doctor's office when she was younger and later went on to work for Nationwide Insurance - always bringing her caring heart to the people she worked with.
Cean had a passion for the simple joys of life: crocheting beautiful things by hand, tending lovingly to her flower garden, riding horses, and camping under the stars. She had a generous spirit and a deep love for her friends and family. She was thoughtful, kind, and happiest when surrounded by those she cared for.
Cean will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her warmth, strength, and the joy she brought to others. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Perry; daughters: Jamie, Carla, Amanda, Sarah, Laura, and Leslie; 16 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, parents in-law, Helen and Craig Nash; and her loving siblings and other family and friends.
She was preceded by her parents, and a daughter, Shelly.
