Cecelia Burgwald Obituary
Cecelia was a member of the College of St. Benedict Alumni, class of 1959. She was a retired Elementary School Teacher with 34 years of service to the Ely and Anoka-Hennepin School Districts. Cecelia was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Crosby.
Cecelia is survived by one brother, Tom Burgwald of Ironton; one sister, Katherine (LeRoy) LaForce of Little Falls, sister-in-law, LeAnn Burgwald of Deerwood and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Cecelia in death are her parents and one brother, Denis Burgwald.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Crosby. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
