Cecelia Dosher Obituary
SOUTHPORT: Cecelia J Dosher, age 94 passed away Thursday, September 12, 2025 after a long illness.
Cecelia Dosher was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania on August 3, 1931.. Cecelia was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dosher Jr, her Father Joseph Busi and her Mother Marie Busi Wilson and her son,Chuck Dosher. She is also preceded in death by her grandson Scottie Clark.
Cecelia was a Nurse in Pennsylvania before moving to Southport, NC. Upon moving to Southport she worked at the Brunswick County Health Department for many years. Cecelia lived for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. Her passions were working in her gardens and cooking up large meals for the family gatherings which occurred often.
Survivors include three children, Jackie Somers and husband Bill, Denise Jones and husband David and Suzanne Swain. Grandchildren include Roland [Peewee] Clark, wife Carla, and Carrie Dosher. Her great grandchildren consist of Alicia Fink and husband Brandon, Cierra Potter and Joey Dosher She also had 2 great great grandchildren, Cole Fink, and Callie Fink.
Cecelia will be greatly missed by her family and all that knew her.
