Cecil Glenn Berry, 83, of Gastonia, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Mobile, Alabama on August 24, 1942, to the late Homer and Kathleen Berry.
Cecil was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time working in the yard and spending time with his neighbors. He loved western movies, especially with John Wayne. He was a former vice president of commercial loans at South State Bank.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother, Carl Berry.
Cecil is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Judy Smith Berry; daughter, Cecily Berry; grandson, Sebastian Berry; best friend, Paul Teem.
