Cecil Oliver Horrace passed away on July 17, 2025, in Caldwell, Idaho. He was born on July 2, 1935, in the Riverside area in Idaho to John Leroy Horrace and Ruby Alvena Oliver. Cecil was raised in Sunny Slope and graduated from Marsing High School in 1953.

He married the love of his life, Carroll Dee Floyd, on June 22, 1953. Together, they raised three children, Judith, Sheryl, and Richard in Nampa, Idaho. He served in the National Guard for some time and spent many years working for Proctor and Gamble until retirement. He was a kind and loving father and grandfather who loved many adventures with his children and grandchildren.

Cecil was preceded in death by his parents, John LeRoy and Ruby Horrace, his brothers Alvin Horrace and Jerry Horrace, his wife Carroll Horrace, and daughter Judith Sweaney. He is survived by his sisters Betty Hubler and Joyce Eis, daughter Sherry Reed (Ray) of Phoenix, Arizona, son Richard Horrace (Cindy) of Oldtown, Idaho, son-in-law Doug Sweaney of Caldwell, Idaho, grandchildren Penny, Janelle, Allison, Collin, Kellsie, and Sara, as well as many great-grandchildren.

There will be no public service per Cecil's wishes. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
