Mr. Martine Phillips of Colquitt, GA, died Monday, February 2, 2026, at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 4:00 PM, at Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Cory Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery with Johnny Cofty, Don Phillips Jr., Storm Tabb, Hunter Phillips, Holden Phillips, Chesley Lucas, and Brant Alexander serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be from 2:30 to 4:00 PM on Friday, January 6, 2026, at Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church.
Mr. Phillips was a farmer and a member of Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, Marty Phillips of Colquitt, GA; three daughters, Sheila (Louie) Freeman of Colquitt, GA, Cile (John) Lucas of Marietta, GA, and Lysa Phillips Wortmann of Colquitt, GA; six grandchildren, Hunter (Jaycee) Phillips, Holden (Makinna) Phillips, Chelsea (David) Barnes, Hannah Wortmann, Chesley Lucas, and Sophia Lucas; four great-grandchildren, Anniston Phillips, Brennen Ivey Phillips, August Bradford and Bianca Barnes; and one brother, Don Phillips of Blakely, GA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frankie Phillips; parents, Cecil Ashley and Annie Belle Phillips; and five siblings, Sarah Phillips, Jeannine Phillips, Helen Henning, Milton Phillips, and Wayne Phillips.
