Born on December 16, 1949, in Monticello, Cecil's roots ran deep in the Kentucky soil he cherished through the span of his life.
In 1988, Cecil's heart was captured by the grace and kind smile of Joyce, a server at Zurocco's, where their life story together began. Their love blossomed into a partnership that would define the next 37 years.
Through decades, Cecil offered his skills as a construction worker, shaping the infrastructure of his community with the same reliability and precision he applied to every aspect of his life. He was a respected figure on-site, known for his solid craftsmanship and his readiness to mentor the younger generation of workers.
Cecil's passion for the outdoors was a vibrant thread in the fabric of his life. An avid deer hunter and fisherman, he found solace in the stillness of the woods and the gentle currents of rivers. These moments of quiet reflection amid nature's bounty were a source of enduring fulfillment for him. His grandsons Myles & Addison, were the delighted companions of many such adventures, inheriting their grandfather's appreciation for nature's wonders.

Cecil is survived by his wife Joyce (Miller) Pittman, son: Robert (Johnie Sue) Pittman; cherished grandchildren: Myles and Addison. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Services will be Private and were entrusted to Brater Winter Funeral Home.
