Cecil Rushbrook Obituary
Cecil is survived by his loving wife Shirley (Stevenson) whom he was married to for 65 years. He is also survived by his children, Cecil Jr (Carol), Mark (Dolores), Diana Callahan (Shawn), Kevin (Mindy) and Eric (Angela). Cecil's greatest passion was being Pop-Pop to his eight grandchildren, Jessica (Colin), Danielle (Randy), Felicia (Laura), Shelly (Dave), Michelle (Jayson), Jacob, Samantha, and Matthew. Cecil was also adored by his eight great grandchildren, Camren, Madison, Greyson, Ariana, Ava, Nash, Karter, and Maggie.
After he graduated from high school, Cecil went into the Air Force where he served for three years. He then moved to Bristol, PA, where he began his family. Cecil spent most of his working years at O'Boyle's Ice Cream. His favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing and playing horseshoes with his family and friends. Cecil spent many game days gathered by the television with his family cheering on the Eagles and Phillies.
We as a family take comfort knowing that Cecil is at peace. His warm smile, and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 11-1 with a service following from 1-1:30 at Molden Funeral Chapel, 133 Otter Street, Bristol, PA 19007 on March 29, 2024. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
