My deepest condolences to Cecil's family. I didn't get the chance to work with him at Vigo, but I do remember him coming into the office to see everyone.
He seemed to have a wonderful sense of humor and when speaking with him one day about the program he had helped create for Vigo, I realized how intelligent he was.
May God give all of you peace during this difficult time in your life.

It was a pleasure working with Cecil at Vigo Importing back in the 1990s.
Prayers for comfort for the whole family during this difficult time.

Cecil worked at Vigo Importing for many years. He started as a consultant, but then just became part of the Vigo family. We affectionately had a nickname for him: "Cecil the Diesel!" Come to think of it, Cecil was a "2 nickname guy." We also called him "taps," because he took to wearing the old-time metal taps on his shoes, and you could hear him coming from a mile away on the office tile floor. Sometimes he would do a little 2-step. Cecil was very smart, and he helped us navigate through many challenges. His history with the Air Force is also quite interesting. Let's just say that he played a part in keeping our country safe during those cold war years. Once I asked him for some details, and although this had all taken place decades before, he was not able to talk about it. He had taken an oath. We need more people like Cecil. May God bless him and his family. Sam Ciccarello

Deepest sympathies to Becky and the family. Cecil was a wonderful person and will always be remembered as such. He was a valued co-worker . . . so intelligent, hard working and fun to be around. May he Rest in Peace.
