Cecile L. Anctil

Webster/Southbridge: Cécile Livernois Anctil, 81, of Killdeer Island in Webster, passed away on Thurs. Sept. 26th, at UMass Memorial Health - Harrington Hospital in Southbridge after a brief illness.
She was born on Oct. 10, 1942 in Southbridge to Amadee and Victoria Livernois. She was a proud 1960 graduate of the former Notre Dame High School in Southbridge, cherishing the friends she made into her adult life. Cécile married her first love, Elton I. Anctil, on April 15, 1961, over 63 years ago. She worked in customer service for National Grid for nearly two decades before retiring.
Cécile was the heart and soul of the beautiful home and family she built and kept; lighting up any room she entered with her contagious smile and laugh. She will always be remembered for her sense-of-humor, love of cooking, and for being everyone's biggest support system and loudest cheerleader.
She is survived by her husband, Elton; her son, Gary E. Anctil and his wife Sue; her daughter, Reneé C. Anctil; her two brothers, John and Richard Livernois; her seven sisters, the late Virginia Chouinard, Irene Cierpich, Thérèse Burton, Marguerite Menard, Rachel Lambiras, Madeleine Pothier, and Agnes Livernois; her three grandchildren, Dreama Cawthorn, Dhosi Lazo, and Athena Filo; her great-grandson, Phoenix Raye Filo; and her best and closest friends, Claire St. Pierre, Joan Morse, and Muriel Johnson.
Calling hours for Cécile will be held on Thurs., Oct. 10th, from 4:00 to 6:00pm in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a funeral service to follow at 6:00pm. Burial will be private.
