Southbridge: Marion A. (Croke) Bonin, 86, formerly of Southbridge, passed away on Saturday, June 7th, in the Webster Manor Nursing Home, Webster, after a long illness.
She leaves her two sons, Mark Bonin and his wife Gale of Southbridge and Thomas Bonin of Southbridge; her two daughters, Barbara Brisson and her husband Bryan of South Carolina and Nancy Bonin of South Carolina; her brother, Raymond Croke and his wife Alice of Southbridge; her Sister in law Lorraine Croke; her 9 grandchildren, Aaron Bonin, Ashleigh Morse, Joseph Parent, Christopher Bonin, Shaine Bonin, Erica Flodquist, Alex Sanchez, Kyle Bonin, and TJ Sanchez; her 6 great grandchildren, Damion, Alysha, Xavier, Hunter, Craig and Julia; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Donald Croke and her two sisters, Constance Croke and Sylvia Jolin. She was born in Southbridge the daughter of the late Walter and Lea (Prunier) Croke.

Marion worked as a medical secretary at the UMass Medical School for many years before retiring. She previously worked at McDonalds and the J.I. Morris Co. in Southbridge.

Marion enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Patriots and loved watching the Hallmark Channel. She also enjoyed making many puzzles. She was an avid reader of her bible and educational books. Above all Marion was a devoted Christian and was especially devoted to her family. She was kind and generous to whomever she met.

Marion's family would like to thank The Webster Manor Nursing Home staff Catrina, Martha, Savanah and Marion's favorite Heather. As well as Athena Hospice Services of Western MA, LLC staff Mark, Giovanni, Kelly, Michael, Tammy and Hailey.

A graveside service for Marion will be held on July 11th, at 12:00pm in the New Notre Dame Cemetery, N. Woodstock Rd., Southbridge. There are no calling hours.

The family would like to invite all that attend, to join us for a celebration of life meal following the service. Announcement at the service.
