Joey Allen Bonin, 57, of Chilton WI, passed away unexpectedly at his home. He was born and raised in Trout Creek MI, met his wife in Minnesota, and raised his family in Wisconsin.

He is survived by his loving wife, Paula; his children Sam (Scott), Brandi (Ricky), Brandon, and Shantae (Jaccob); his siblings Bev and Jim; and his in-laws Tony and Janet. Joey is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, an aunt, uncles, grandchildren, and the family he collected along the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert (Bob) and Gladys (Gabby); his brothers Robert and John (Mop); his brother-in-law Bill Johnson; and his great-nephew Austyn.

A jack-of-all-trades, Joey spent his life working hard in many fields including welding, mechanical work, snow plowing, park management, and truck driving. He especially loved hunting, fishing, artifact hunting, and spending time with his family. Joey welcomed everyone into his home and his heart. His kindness, humor, and willingness to help others will be remembered by all who knew him.

A celebration of Joey’s life will be held from 1PM to 5PM, on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at RS Vintage Steel, N10895 US-151,Chilton, WI 53014.
