Cecilia "Cece" Ann Miletich, passed away on February 8, 2026 at her home in Arlington, Texas. She was born on February 17, 1951, in Fukuoka, Japan, to Arthur D. Slaughter and Johnnie M. Slaughter.
Cece was the youngest of three in a military family who moved to Oregon and many states throughout the country until they settled in Grand Prairie, Texas. She attended Grand Prairie high school, and after graduating, started her career in insurance. This life long career ending after 27 years with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.
Cece had several passions in life starting with her granddaughter who she loved to the moon and back. She was a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, but most of all the Dallas Mavericks. She loved animals and had several in her lifetime. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas and all the movies on Hallmark. She had the gift of gab which meant she never met a stranger.
She is survived by her spouse, John Miletich, daughter, Johnnie Maynard and her husband, David; her grandchildren, Meghan and Richard; great granddaughter Miranda; sister-in-law, Pat Slaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
Memorial service will be held on March 15, 2026 at 1 PM at the Elks Lodge in Arlington, Texas .
