Cecilia Jimenez de Pinto, or Ceci, as she was called by her friends and family, passed away Saturday (September 6, 2025) at UF Health Shands in Gainesville, FL.

She was born in Santander, Colombia on March 19, 1950. She later moved with her sister to Venezuela. She lived in Caracas, the capital, for a number of years and then the family relocated to Calabozo (Uverito), Venezuela. She helped start a church near her home with her family and Catalino and Isabel Romero. Today, a church continues to exist there and has touched the lives of many. It is the church in which Shane and Carla were married in 2001. Ceci later moved to the United States and has lived in Manor since that time. She attended New Covenant Church in Valdosta with Shane and Carla and, more recently, attended Transformation Church of Waycross. She helped with the operations of C&S Honey Supply, working long hours bottling honey and decorating honey jars. She enjoyed tending to her cats and worshipping God. She wanted everyone to know Jesus and to have a firm, Biblical foundation. She also enjoyed healthy eating. Ceci spent hours in prayer for her family in Venezuela and the United States. She loved outreaches and reaching the people that no one wanted. She was very devoted to the church and serving God wholeheartedly. Her smile touched so many lives. She recently participated in the Behold the Lamb easter drama which was an act of courage since English is her second language. With a servant's heart, she would always give away anything she had. She was very unselfish, thinking of the well-being of others more than herself.

She is survived by her daughter, Carla Barber (husband Shane); her two sons, Cesar S. Pinto Jimenez (wife Julianys) and Esaul J. Pinto Jimenez (wife Lorena); grandchildren, Damian, Isabella, Kaleb, Javier, Sebastian, Joshua, and Scarlett; sisters, Himelda Jimenez de Antias, Maria Fanny de Ayala, and Gloria Jimenez; and her brother, Berto Jimenez; along with many other nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday (September 11, 2025) at Victory Methodist Church in Manor. Burial will follow in Victory Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday beginning at 2 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to the "Feed Venezuela" Program. Checks can be made out to Transformation Church, 2198 Brunswick Hwy. Waycross, GA 31503, with "Feed Venezuela" in the memo section.
