Mr. James Daniel "Danny" Taylor, 75, passed away Wednesday (September 10, 2025) at his residence in Waycross.

He was born August 31, 1950 in Ware County to the late James Edison Taylor and Retha Mae Music Taylor. Danny graduated from Waycross High School in 1969, and he served in the United States Army as a Specialist during the Vietnam War. He retired from ITG Brands as a sales rep, and he was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Danny enjoyed hunting, fishing, running dogs at Duck Pond Hunting Club, woodworking, and most importantly, spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donnie Taylor.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Ruth Wajick Taylor of Waycross; his daughter, Becky Griffin (Timothy) of Blackshear; grandchildren, Harrison Cristobal (Kate Davis), Tanner Cristobal (Asley Strickland), Chloe Anna Griffin, and Ella Jaye Griffin; great grandchild, Wrenley; sister, Barbara Head of Waycross; brother, Dennis Taylor (Rita) of Waynesville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ann and Charlie Lowery of Dinwiddie, VA; nieces, Dawn and Amber Head; special friend, Kelly Bryson; and numerous other relatives.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday (September 13, 2025) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
