Cecilia Ann Eaton

Cecilia Ann Eaton, a cherished soul known for her unwavering work ethic and love for literature, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, in Rector, Arkansas. Born on March 24, 1953, to the late William and Lucille (Bullinger) Tucker, Cecilia's life was a testament to the strength and resilience instilled in her from a young age.
Cecilia's journey began in the heart of a close-knit family, where she was a beacon of light and joy. She was a devoted sister to her brother, Murel Tucker, and the bonds they formed in childhood remained unbreakable throughout their lives. Cecilia's legacy continued as she met and married the love of her life, Jerry Eaton. Their union was blessed with two wonderful children, Christina Diane Taylor and Jerry Keith Eaton, who in turn gave her the gift of being a grandmother to Jessica, Shelby, Michael, Amber, and Shana.
Throughout her life, Cecilia was a pillar of strength and dedication. She spent many years contributing to the community as a factory worker at Monroe, where her colleagues admired her for her reliability and positive attitude. Cecilia's commitment to her work was paralleled only by her involvement in various associations, where she was respected for her contributions and collaborative spirit.
Cecilia's interests extended beyond the walls of the factory. She had an insatiable love for reading, which allowed her to explore worlds beyond her own and imparted a sense of wonder and knowledge that she eagerly shared with those around her. When she wasn't reading a good book, she could be found playing solitaire.
Cecilia Ann Eaton's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of devotion, hard work, and a love for the written word.
Visitation will begin on Monday, August 4, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the Irby Funeral Home in Rector with a Graveside Service at Woodland Heights which will begin at 11:00.
