COHOES Cecilia G. (Jubic) Molesky, 84, peacefully passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025. She passed at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Peter G. Jubic, Sr. and Veronica (Burns) Jubic. She attended Catholic Central School in Troy, and later received her GED. Cecilia went on to work for many years as a switchboard operator, and later became the first woman to work in the ordering department at Mohawk Paper Mill in Cohoes until her retirement.

Always an extremely social person, Cecilia loved being surrounded by family and friends. She was known for her generosity and kindness, and due to her magnetic personality, she managed to make new friends wherever she went. There was never a dull moment with Cecilia around; she could often be found enjoying dinners out with her extensive group of friends, winning bingo at various bingo parlors, or playing the slot machines at the casino. Even while relaxing at home, she often had a friend to chat with on the other side of the phone while she did her daily crosswords. She absolutely loved to dance, and never missed an opportunity to tear it up on the dance floor.

Cecilia was the loving wife of Edward J. Molesky, Sr. who passed in 2003; the beloved mother of Theresa A. Molesky and her partner Jason A. Crocker of Cohoes; the adoring grandmother of Jack E. Crocker and Charlotte A. Crocker. She is also survived by many, many nieces and nephews.

Last but certainly not least, she is survived by her best friend of 70 years and next door neighbor of over 30 years, Cathy Spizowski.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Edward J. Molesky, Jr.; her five brothers, Robert J. Jubic, Peter G. Jubic, Jr., Thomas A. Jubic, Martin P. Jubic, Bernard G. Jubic, and by her two sisters, Veronica (Jubic) Wein and Margherita (Jubic) Brooks.

At Cecilia's request, no funeral services will be held. There will instead be a celebration of life held in the Spring.

Those wishing to send gifts or flowers are encouraged to make contributions in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org
