Cecilia M. (Steinbacher) Spittle, 95, entered into rest Monday, September 15, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Eugene R. Spittle, Jr. who passed away in 2020. They had been married for 65 years.

Cecilia was born August 26, 1930 in Williamsport, Pa. The daughter of the late Robert E. Steinbacher and Esther M. (Nittinger) Steinbacher. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Cecilia was a homemaker whose greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Cecilia is survived by her daughters Mary Ann Jennings and her partner Dan Reineberg, Cynthia Glatfelter and her husband Steve, Kimberly Vulopas and her husband Sam, Cathy Jo Cross and her husband Nimrod; grandchildren Russell Zeigler, Ashlee Zeigler and her partner Mark Oldhouser, Cameron Iati and his wife Mary Kate, Jordan Vulopas, Samantha Vulopas, Jamie Cross, and Jeremy Cross; great-granddaughters Alayna and Charlotte; great-grandsons Henry and Jack; and sister Teresa Myers.

Cecilia was preceded in death by a son-in-law Ralph Jennings, III; sisters Mary Gearhart and Ann Stopper, and brothers John, Joseph, Charles and William Steinbacher.

Our family would like to express our deepest thanks to the staff at Normandie Ridge Nursing Home for the loving care and kindness that was shown to Cecilia during her time there.

A visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church 2935 Kingston Road. The memorial mass will begin at 11 a.m. at the church with Father Kyle Sahd as celebrant. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery. The John W. Keffer Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
