Cedo Tomas

Cedo Tomas, 61, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 26, 1964, in Prijedor, Bosnia, and later made his home in Florida. In 1985, Cedo married the love of his life, Zlata, and together they shared 40 beautiful years of marriage filled with devotion, laughter, and adventure.

A gifted auto mechanic, Cedo dedicated his life to his craft. He founded Your Automotive in Pinellas Park, where he worked tirelessly and built a reputation for honesty, skill, and dedication. Cars may have been his profession, but people were his passion - many customers became lifelong friends.

Cedo also had a deep love for traveling, exploring new places, and sharing those experiences with his family. Whether near or far, he treasured the memories made along the way.

More than anything, Cedo loved to make people laugh. His quick wit, lighthearted spirit, and perfectly timed jokes could brighten any room. He had a gift for lifting others up, and his humor will remain one of the things his family and friends cherish most.

Above all, Cedo's greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren. Known for his kindness, warmth, and selfless spirit, he poured his heart into every role he held - husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Cedo is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Zlata Tomas; his children, Daniel Tomas (wife Ashli Tomas) and Sanja Beltran (husband Carlos Beltran); and his grandchildren, Leo Tomas, Antonio Beltran, Mia Tomas, Tomas Beltran and Tea Tomas.

He leaves behind his father, Dusan Tomas; siblings, Jelena Kobas, Nedjo Tomas and Jadranko Tomas; and many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

He will be remembered as a man who worked hard, lived fully, and loved endlessly. His legacy of love, laughter, and joy will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Roden je 26. juna 1964. godine u Prijedoru, Bosna i Hercegovina, a veci deo života proveo je na Floridi. Godine 1985. oženio je ljubav svog života, Zlatu, sa kojom je delio 40 prelepih godina braka ispunjenih ljubavlju, smehom i brojnim zajednickim avanturama.

Po zanimanju automehanicar, Cedo je bio istinski majstor svog zanata. Kao osnivac Your Automotive Repair Shop u Pinellas Parku, stekao je reputaciju vrednog i poštenog coveka, cije su znanje i posvecenost ulivali poverenje. Ipak, ono što ga je cinilo posebnim bili su ljudi –Mnogo klijenti postali su mu trajni prijatelji.

Voleo je putovanja i otkrivanje novih mesta, a najviše je uživao u deljenju tih iskustava sa porodicom. Svako putovanje za njega je bilo prilika da stvori uspomene koje ce zauvek živeti.

Poznat po vedrom duhu i smislu za humor, umeo je da osvetli svaku prostoriju i ulepša dan svima oko sebe. Njegove šale, toplina i dobrodušnost ostace zauvek urezane u srcima porodice i prijatelja.

Najveca radost u njegovom životu bila je porodica, narocito unuci. Kao suprug, otac, deda, brat i prijatelj, Cedo je živeo nesebicno, uvek spreman da pruži ljubav i podršku. Za njim tuguju njegova voljena supruga Zlata Tomas; deca Daniel Tomas (snaha Ashli) i Sanja Beltran (zet Carlos); unuci Leo, Mia, Tea, Antonio i Tomas; otac Dušan Tomas; braca i sestre Nedjo Tomas, Jelena Kobas i Jadranko Tomas; kao i mnogi clanovi šire porodice i brojni prijatelji.

Pamtice se kao covek koji je radio s ljubavlju, živeo punim srcem i voleo bezuslovno. Njegovo naslede smeha, dobrote i radosti nastavice da živi kroz sve koji su imali srecu da ga poznaju.
