Mr. Cedric G. Austin

Cedric G. Austin was born February 28, 1961, to Pauline Moore and Emerson Hobbs in Forrest City, Arkansas. He departed his earthly life on Sunday, February 23, 2025.
Cedric attended school in Forrest City, Arkansas, Memphis, Tennessee, and St. Louis, Missouri. He served his country in the United States Army. He was married for a time to Cathy Austin, but they later divorced. Cedric loved to be called "Hollywood", and he would often remind you that his name was "Handsome Hollywood". He enjoyed being around friends and family doing what he did best: laughing, joking, and just being "Hollywood". He loved food, especially when it was a celebration of an occasion. He was always the comedian in the room.
He is preceded in death by his mother-Pauline Moore; father-Oscar Austin; paternal father-Emerson Hobbs; sister-Mattie Harris; brothers-in-law- Leon Harris, William Norwood, and Willie B. Brandon; and his siblings- Jimmy Lee, Roy L. Terry Lee, Freeman, Cleophus Hobbs, and Florida Hobbs.
He leaves to cherish his memories of his siblings-Dorothy Brandon of Chicago, Illinois, Evelyn Norwood of Memphis, Tennessee, Dimitric Austin of Colorado, Genevia Hobbs and David Hobbs both of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Denece Hobbs-Bean of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
