Mr. Cedric Banks was born on December 28, 1988, to the union of Silva O'Neal Banks and Deborah Ann (Edmond) Banks.
At an early age in life Cedric joined the Cades Chapel Baptist Church and served faithful for many years. Later in life, he joined True Friendship Church where he served as Armor Bearer to Pastor Daravious Cullars. His love for God was shown through his everyday walk.
Cedric was a dedicated employee at Electrolux in Anderson, South Carolina for 14 years, until his health declined. He was educated in the Elbert County School System and was a member of the Class of 2007.
Cedric's earthly journey ended on Friday, September 12, 2025, and now he's reunited with his father Silva Banks; his grandmother's Virginia Bell (Edmond) Hill and Ethel Mae (Williams) Banks.
Those he leaves behind to forever cherish his memories are his wife Tashka Banks; mother Deborah (Edmond) Banks; sister Pamela Bobo; step children Swahili Gilliard, Kosha Gilliard, Jae-Shon Montgomery; nieces Kendra (Trent) Huling, Tanesha (Cordarius) Gladmon; nephew Demetrius (Maria) Ardister; great nieces Aubri Thomas, Taylor Huling, Chloe Gladmon, Jaida Roebuck; great nephews Aiden Ardister, Cordarius Gladmon, Jr.; aunts Eula Edmond, Elder Mae Helen Jones, Mary Annette Hill, Ethelene Moon, Patricia Fleming; uncle Norris Neal Banks; best friends Timothy "Petey" Ray, Demarcus Rucker, Calvin "Grip" Blakely; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 1:30pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel.
We ask that you keep the Banks family in your thoughts and prayers.
You may express your condolences, sign the online register, send flowers, or light a memory candle in his honor to provide comfort to the family.
