Mrs. Sandra Kay Wilson Teasley, age 81 of Hartwell, Ga., widow of David Louis Teasley, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born March 12, 1944 to the late Joyce Sanders Wilson and Carey Kidd Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Phillip Hix, siblings Jack Wilson, David Wilson, Sherry Goddard, Patti Wilson and Kenneth Peek.
Sandra was employed in the textile industry with Miliken Ind., Bellcraft, and Springs Industries. She sang in the Gospel Group Sweet Spirit Singers and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children; Ricky (Tabatha) Hix of Lavonia, Amy Taylor of Anderson, SC. and adopted daughter Angel Noel Wilson of Hartwell. Siblings; Carla Wilson, Calla Mae Bryant. Five Grandchildren and Eleven Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday October 15, 2025 at 1:00 with the memorial service beginning at 2:00 in the chapel of Coile nd Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson St. Hartwell, Ga. 30643. The Rev. Ricky Hix and Rev. Allen Hix will officiate. Her wishes were to be cremated and her ashes will be buried next to her husband at Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Family and friends will gather at the home of Ricky and Tabatha Hix located at 51 Wren Rd., Lavonia, Ga. at 6:00 on Tuesday October 14, 2025
