Mr. James “Jim” Alexander Teasley, 72, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 8, 2026. He was born in Guilford County, NC, on May 21, 1953, the son of the late David Lane Teasley and Betty Jo Collins Tromba. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew him. Jim proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, computers and anything woodworking. Jim is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kay Teasley; his daughter, Michelle Wright; four grandchildren, Sarah Epperson, Richard Epperson II, Isabella Wright and Joshlyn “Little j” Wright; a great-grandson, Arthur James “A.J.” Epperson; a brother, David Teasley (Sandra); two nieces, Jennifer (Jerry) and Stephanie (Kevin); and one nephew, Daniel. A celebration of Jim’s Life will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2026, at Hayworth-MillerRural Hall Chapel with Pastor Greg Hall officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made at Wounded Warrior Project.
