Cedric Ford, beloved father, brother, and Husband, passed away on June 21, 2024, at the age of 35. He was born on June 27, 1988, in Chicago, IL, and most recently resided in Baxter, MN.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday June 27, 2024, at 11:00am at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd. There will be a visitation held one hour prior to the start of the service at the church. There will also be a visitation held on Tuesday June 25, 2024, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Burial will take place on Thursday June 27, 2024, at Baxter City Cemetery.
Cedric had a deep love for children and cherished his role as a father. Cedric was in a loving relationship with his wife, Michaela Hart. Together, they created a beautiful family.
Cedric leaves behind his children: Kadian Hanson, Muzette Rhodes, Jakob Ford, Anthony Rhodes-Ford, Bentley Ford, Brooklynn Ford, and Benjamin Ford. His love for his children knew no bounds, and he found immense joy in being surrounded by them.
In addition to his children and partner, Cedric is survived by his siblings, David Jones, Angelica Robinson, and Roger Robinson, as well as his mother, Annette Jones.
He is preceded in death by his twin sister Cebrina Ford and his father Cedric Ford Sr.
They will remember Cedric as someone who always had a joke to tell and could brighten anyone's day with his laughter. Cedric impacted the lives of others in numerous ways. He fought tirelessly in his recovery from substance abuse and faced health challenges with unwavering determination. His resilience and strength inspired those around him, and his journey served as a testament to the power of perseverance. Cedric held strong Catholic beliefs and found solace in his faith throughout his life. He found comfort and guidance in his religious and spiritual practices, which provided him with strength and support during difficult times.
Cedric Ford will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His laughter, love, and courageous spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in eternal peace.
