Celerina Tanchoco Obituary
Celerina was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She grew up in the years after the war and studied to become a nurse. She secured a position with Jamaica Hospital in Queens NY and came to the United States in the early 70's where she worked at the hospital for many years before retiring to enjoy her grandchildren in 2014.
Celerina is survived by her husband, Mario; her daughter Lemar; her siblings Jovencio, Teresita and Rose; as well as her grandchildren, Maya and Livia.
A memorial service will take place on Sunday November 23, 2025 at the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home in New Hyde Park from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
A mass will be held for her 10:45am on Monday November 24th at the Our Lady of the Snows Church in Floral Park, NY
