Celeste Ranell Barrett

Celeste Ranell Barrett, a dedicated, supportive mother, passed away at home in Riverview on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at the age of 59. Celeste was born on December 15, 1964 in Cleveland, Ohio to proud parents, Wayne and Joyce (Conard) Bundy. She worked for over twenty years as a family law paralegal.
Celeste loved her life in the Florida sun. She loved being out on the water, sunbathing on the boat or simply just being outside enjoying the weather. She also was passionate about her rock music. Celeste loved to blare her 5 Finger Death Punch, Linkin Park and Godsmack, whom she had seen in concert an impressive fifteen times. What Celeste was most proud of was her family and she was so excited about becoming a grandmother to a new grandson in three short months. Surely, she will be his guardian angel.
Celeste was preceded in death by her mother and father, a sister, Lisa Phillips, as well as her husband, the late Honorable William J. Barrett.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children: Taylor (Dalton Bohannon) Roberts of Riverview and David John Roberts of Syracuse, New York; stepchildren: Anjelica (Sean) Edwards of Brockport, New York and Cassandra Barrett of Riverview; her expected grandson: Judge Jay Bohannon; one step-grandson: William Edwards; siblings: Wayne (Marjorie) Bundy of Port Orange and Mae (Jim) Smith of Tonawanda, New York; as well as a very close friend: Liza Simmons of Bradenton.
Final memorialization will be by cremation
