Celeste Nadine Eatherton, 57, of Peachtree City, GA, a loving Mom, daughter and sister, passed away on March 13, 2022 in Palm Coast, Florida following a lengthy hospital stay there.
Celeste was born February 16, 1965 in New Underwood, S.D. to Florence (Quinn) and John Eatherton II. After graduating from Fayette County (GA) High School in 1983, Celeste attended Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. She enjoyed her work for several years as Assistant Manager at a retail store but resigned to care for her children during their school years. Subsequently, she worked until last August as a paraprofessional at Liberty Tech Charter School in Brooks, GA. Celeste was an avid reader who loved books and working with both young and elderly people. She was also a devout Christian woman who enjoyed her church families.
Celeste's father, John "Roger" Eatherton, and her stepsister, Debra Hoffman, preceded her in death. She is survived by her three children: Zachary Hunt of Newnan, GA; Olivia Hunt of Norcross, GA; and Corinne Hunt of Norcross, GA; her Mom and stepdad, Florence and William Lyon of Palm Coast, Florida; her stepmother, Jane Eatherton of Dundee, NY; her sister Melanie Eatherton of Mooresville, NC, and her brothers John Eatherton III and his wife Cherie of Quakertown, PA, and Robert Eatherton and his wife Danette of Peachtree City; her stepsister Caitlin and husband Matt Wehling of Spring City, PA and her stepbrothers Eric Gunderson of Amery, WI, Christian Lyon and his wife Cynthia of Knightdale, NC, Dain Lyon and his wife Shirley of Amery, WI, and Curtis Lyon of Somerset, WI; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who also loved her and will miss her.
A Memorial Service is being planned to take place in Peachtree City sometime in late April. Please check Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service's website (www.HeritageFlagler.com) for further information.

Celeste was always very kind to my children, to my husband, and to me. I substituted with her quite frequently and she always greeted my kids and told them to have a great day. Anytime she saw my husband she would just call him Dad, and he always thought that was neat. She was very Christ focused and everyone who came into contact with her knew for certain that she was a believer. I look forward to seeing her again one day in Heaven.
