Celeste Mary Gabriel

Celeste Mary Gabriel, 81, of Naples, Florida passed away on September 18, 2023 peacefully at her home. Celeste was born in Hoboken, New Jersey to the late Frederick and Ellen (Bellew) Gabriel.
Celeste was a remarkable woman, although she faced many challenges in her life, she became a single mother with 2 of her 4 children still at home. While working her job to provide for her family, she put herself through nursing school at night. She then decided to go into private care nursing working her entire career caring for patients in their home.
Celeste loved being outside, working in her yard, tending to her plants and flowers and even mowing her own grass, which she did up until last year 2022. Celeste had a green thumb and became a master at growing and caring for orchids. She was always an active and vibrant person, visiting with neighbors as she took her daily walks, or at the gym.
Her "can do" attitude was the example she set for her family. As wonderful and caring of a mother, she was 100 times more loving and caring as a grandmother. She will always be remembered for her, gentle wisdom, her caring heart, and her loving spirit.
Celeste is survived by her children; William Elser (Jayne) Donna Vogel, Celeste Elser (Significant Other: Chris Arcudi), and Kevin Elser ; her grandchildren, Derek Vogel, Kristen Verlato (Dane), Hannah Vogel, Lara Vogel, and five great-grandchild Skyela McCreedy, Finn, Abel, Tripp and Cove Vogel, she is also survived by; nieces, nephews, and friends. Along with her parents, Celeste was preceded in death by her brother, two sisters and one granddaughter, Tiffany Vogel.
Celeste's family will honor her life with a private ceremony at a later time. They invite you to honor her in your own way.
