Celestino Horton Baca 81, passed away in his home October 3, 2024. He was born in Roswell, NM.
He was a heavy mechanic of all sorts. Self-employed painter. He was a faithful man of God. He loved the Lord with all his heart and soul. He loved going to Church on the Move with his daughter Penny. He shared his faith everywhere he went. He loved his children, grandchildren and his dog Benji. He enjoyed going for rides on his 4-wheeler and going to eat with his partner in crime.
His known sayings are:

Celestino is survived by his brother Filimon Baca of Roswell NM, his 3 daughters Penny Baca of Roswell NM, Jamie Baca-Shamas of San Antonio TX, Jennifer Baca of Dallas TX and his son T.J. Baca of Dallas TX. His 24 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents Lorenzo Baca and Clara Horton. His 3 brothers Charlie Horton, Ralph Baca and Pedro Baca, his 3 sisters Tillie Baca, Margarita Uvalles and Mary Renteria, his 2 sons Tino Baca Jr, and Lorenzo Baca and his daughter Karen Baca.
Always be full of joy in the Lord! I say it again- rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon. Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done. - Philippians 4: 4-7

A viewing will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, Monday, October 14, 2024 at Ballard Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, October 15, 2024 also at Ballard Funeral Home. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.
