No funeral service will be held for Celia Ileana Claypool, 91, per her request.
Celia Claypool died on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 14, 2023 at the Douglas Care Center in Douglas, Wyoming with her children at her bedside.
Celia was born Sunday, July 26, 1931in Burlington, Kansas the daughter of Harold and Victoria (Bazil) Knapp.
She is survived by her children, Marvi (Ken) LeClair of Douglas, Tammy (John/Huck) Berry of Douglas, and Larry (Carol) Claypool of Cheyenne, Wyoming; brother, Ed Knapp of Tennessee; grandchildren, Brett LeClair, Adam LeClair, Brady Berry, Trent Claypool, and Whitney Claypool; and great grandchildren, Raef LeClair, Knox LeClair, and Payton Claypool.
Celia was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Carl Claypool.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Douglas Care Center, 1108 Birch Street, Douglas, Wyoming 82633 would be appreciated by the family.
The Gorman Funeral Homes – Converse Chapel of Douglas, Wyoming is in charge of the arrangements.
