Celia Bottia de Sotelo, 81, of Alexandria, Virginia, peacefully left this world on Sunday, February 16, 2025. She was cared for until the end by her beloved and devoted son Guillermo.
Loving wife to her rock, the late Pedro Sotelo. She is survived by her three sons, Antonio, Guillermo, and Pedro Jr., grandchildren Nija, Nathan, and Nastasha, great grandchildren Isaiah, Xavier, Alexander, Eli, and Yanaai, sister Alcira, and other family members.
Born on August 18 in Chiscas, Boyacá, Colombia, she left her home to move to Puerto Rico, where she built a life and her family. Celia obtained a bachelor's in business administration and worked as a tax auditor for the local IRS office. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, she leaves behind a legacy of strength, tenacity, and determination. She will truly be missed by many.

Anunciamos el fallecimiento de quien en vida fuera Celia Bottia de Sotelo, de 81 años, quien partió del plano terrenal el domingo 16 de febrero de 2025. Su amado y dedicado hijo Guillermo la acompañó hasta el final.
Le precede en su partida su roca y amado esposo Pedro. Le sobreviven sus tres hijos Antonio, Guillermo y Pedro Jr., nietos Nija, Nathan y Nastasha, biznietos Isaiah, Xavier, Alexander, Eli y Yanaai, hermana Alcira, y demás familiares.
Nacida el 18 de agosto en Chiscas, Boyacá, Colombia, Celia dejó su Colombia natal para construir su vida y una familia en Puerto Rico. Celia obtuvo un bachillerato en administración comercial y se desempeñó como auditora en el Departamento de Hacienda de Puerto Rico. Como esposa devota, madre, y abuela, deja un legado de fortaleza, tenacidad y determinación.
